Let your Higher Self be in charge

SHARE

A powerful lesson from our women group coaching this weekend...

And I want to share it with you. It will be very handy to you, if you are willing to be challenged.

This same time, some years ago, I was afraid every month when I went into meetings with Tasha, a difficult client...

Our first call didn't go well...

I used that first experience as a filter each time I went into the monthly meeting with Tasha...

...and also with other clients...

I doubted myself a lot. I'm too young and not as experimented to face Tasha... I don't know what I'm doing here... I guess I shouldn't be here...

That was my Lower self, talking.

What is most worrying you this week that you are afraid not to screw up?

And what is it exactly that is making you afraid?

Is it a past failure that you definitely hope not to repeat? Is it comments by people around you? Or is it a belief you've carried along throughout your life?

Whenever you are afraid, you are simply concentrating your precious energy on a "possible" outcome of failure and this removes from your mind, the other equally "possible" outcome of success.

And what you focus on is what you project out to people who you meet. They read every part of what you are telling yourself in your eyes... In words you say without noticing... Like starting the meeting saying sorry or looking not confident.

The truth is you don't know it's your lower self and you are blinded to think you are absolutely right to be afraid, until someone challenges you deeply.

That's what happened to me until the day I put my higher self in charge and removed the lower self talk entirely from my mind.

Yesterday's group session reminded me of that same lesson from years ago: Get rid of your lower self and PUT YOUR HIGHER SELF IN CHARGE...

... ALL THE TIME!

Your higher self is your true voice when you are in sync with yourself.

It's you with full enthusiasm and realism who instead of fear, live by faith in your abilities and focus your attention on the 50% "possible" chance.

And when you think from a place of faith, you equally project your powerful positive self-affirmation to the situations you are in.

Here is how to put your higher self in charge:

  • Ask yourself. What have I achieved in the past that I thought difficult to achieve at first, but I did it anyway?

  • What was different then?

  • How can I bring that difference into my attitude in the situation at hand?

  • If I did what seemed impossible in the past, why can't I do it again this time?

Anytime you think this way and surface your past achievements, you are letting your Higher Self take control and that gives you more confidence.

These questions are forcing you to coach yourself, which is really hard to do by yourself, but you can do it if you stay alert, or find the right people to challenge you often.

From my heart to yours,

Rhode
